VITICULTURE

Vineyard: Single plot of old Macabeo. Location: Foix. Natural Park (Penedès). Year of plantation: 1952. Soil: Calcareous and clay. Altitude: 450 m. Orientation: Southeast. Fertilizer: Organic compost. Treatments: Sulphur and copper (minimum doses), herbal infusions. Production: 3,000 kg/ha.

ENOLOGY

Hand-harvested in 10 kg boxes. Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts and 5 days of skin contact. Aged for 9 months in clay amphorae buried in the vineyard. Unfiltered, with minimal sulphur added.

CONCEPT

A wine that seeks to transcend control and trust in the natural process. Aged under a veil of flor in buried amphorae, it expresses the deep connection between earth, silence, and time. Aromas of chamomile, dried fruit, and subtle earthy notes. Rustic, austere, sincere, and profoundly expressive.
